Step into the life of an 18th-century manor house.
Through its restored rooms, period pieces, and captivating stories, the Manoir Mauvide-Genest invites you to discover the art of living in bygone days—authentic, elegant, and profoundly human.
The Manor offers its four floors for an immersive visit into the daily life of a wealthy 18th-century family. Its permanent exhibition, Le Manoir Mauvide-Genest, recreates the lordly residence with period furnishings.
The exhibition presents portraits of women who, in their own way, left their mark on our seigniorial history. Its aim is to highlight their contributions, which remain largely unknown today.
The exhibition presents various artifacts found during archaeological excavations taking place around the Mauvide-Genest Manor in the early 2000s. These artifacts bear witness to the occupation of the site from the time of the French seigneurial system to the present day.
